Job Description

We are currently seeking a Journeyman E&I for our Millersburg, Oregon facility. This role is part of a highly skilled team that supports production and maintenance, ensuring equipment is operational to meet production goals and customer needs. This is a rotational 4x4 shift position with overtime available. Relocation assistance will be provided to the ideal candidate. Hourly pay rate is $50.95. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Read electrical and instrumentation schematics, relay, and PLC ladder logic diagrams to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions. 
  • Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and controls. 
  • Follow written instructions to perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks. 
  • Use various test equipment and hand tools, including electrical test instruments, computers, oscilloscopes, and safety equipment. 
  • Work on equipment including PLCs, AC/DC motors and generators, SCRs, VFDs, transformers, circuit breakers, and electronic controls. 
  • Maintain compliance with safe electrical work practices, including NFPA 70E requirements. 
  • Ability to wear a respirator, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. 

 

Required Experience: 

  • A minimum of 4 years of journeyman E&I experience in industrial manufacturing or processing industries. 
  • Prior experience with computerized maintenance management systems; knowledge of National Electrical Codes; knowledge of electronics, vacuum technology, hydraulics, mechanics, and pneumatics. 

 

Required Education: 

  • Requires one of the following Electrical Licenses: 
General Journeyman (J) 
Limited Supervising Electrician (PS) 
Limited Journeyman Manufactured Plant (PJ) 
General Supervising Electrician (S) 

 

Work Environment: 

This role involves working in an industrial manufacturing environment, which may include climbing, lifting,  

and wearing personal protective equipment.
