Job Description
This position requires advanced technology skills to work independently, providing strategic analysis and consultative support for the service, maintenance, repair, and development of solutions for various company products and services.
Primary Responsibilities
Technical
- Perform advanced solutions skill services, including configuring, installing, troubleshooting, networking, maintaining, and training on a wide variety of products and services.
- Act as a consultant/strategic professional, solving high-end product and repetitive issues.
- Lead technical problem-sharing efforts and demonstrate leadership in complex situations.
- Seek volume-building opportunities for increased utilization of Ricoh equipment, supplies, and services.
- Assemble, adjust, and maintain products according to specifications and relevant documentation.
Customer Services
- Promote Ricoh's support functions and manage customer needs effectively.
- Manage time and schedules, assisting others as necessary.
- Maintain productive, professional relationships with customers and Ricoh personnel.
Manage Workload
- Execute workload management and call handling procedures efficiently.
- Provide customer training, equipment observations, and solution presentations.
Administrative
- Meet response times, repair times, and quality objectives while maintaining a full workload.
- Comply with company policies and complete administrative tasks timely.
- Maintain required logs, processes, and reports, and account for all time and activity through tracking systems.
Results
- Achieve expected productivity levels based on assigned workload and experience.
- Participate in Ricoh Extra Value program opportunities as defined.
Required Experience
- Requires a valid state driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance as per Ricoh policy for roles requiring extensive travel.
- Experience in computers, electronics, mechanics, networking, and printing software applications is desired.
Required Education
- High school diploma.
- Must meet the requirements in the Technology Services Training Role Inventory and Certification Program as defined by the manager.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands
- Extensive daily travel between customer locations is usually required, with potential for outdoor work and travel in various weather conditions.
- Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
- Ability to move objects on wheels up to 400 pounds and lift/carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, squatting, and kneeling required for servicing equipment.
- Shift work, overtime, on-call, and potential stress related to deadlines and service calls may occur.
