What You’ll Be Doing
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be a vital part of our technical support team, providing on-site, phone, and email support to customers across the U.S. You’ll install, maintain, and repair high-tech machinery and software systems, ensuring our customers receive world-class service and support.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose complex technical issues and perform on-site repairs
Dismantle and rebuild machines both mechanically and electrically
Perform software updates on HMI and PLC systems
Interpret schematics and block diagrams to troubleshoot issues
Document product problems and resolutions in detail
What You Bring
Skilled in electrical measurement and inspection tools (e.g., voltmeter, oscilloscope)
Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Ability to read schematics and diagnose software issues
Familiarity with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office
Proficient with AC/DC circuits, sensors, relays, timers, and fusing
Experience with mechanical systems (ball screws, bearings, gearing, way systems)
3+ years of experience with PLCs and mechanical troubleshooting
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to travel 95% of the time
Preferred:
2–5 years of experience in the machine tool industry
CNC programming skills
High school diploma or equivalent
