Safely picks up, delivers, installs, and networks office equipment for customers while meeting all federal DOT requirements and Ricoh Delivery Safety Standards. Provides basic device training on‑site and maintains a professional image that directly influences future sales.

Primary Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, unload, and, when required, relocate office equipment; perform simultaneous pick‑ups to reduce costs.

• Conduct DOT‑compliant pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections; keep electronic/manual logbooks current.

• Complete basic connected installations (IP addressing, driver downloads, hard‑drive removal, address‑book backup/restore) and give introductory customer training.

• Capture electronic signatures, verify Bills of Lading/travelers, ensure paperwork accuracy, and reconcile daily route inventory (up to $1 M).

• Pre‑call customers, meet productivity/quality targets, and relay feedback to networking/installation teams.

• Follow accident/incident reporting procedures; participate in safety programs and cycle counts.

• Operate forklifts, stair climbers, pallet jacks, and similar equipment; help train new Delivery Drivers.

• Maintain DOT‑compliant appearance and vehicle cleanliness; perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• 2 + years medium‑duty truck driving with a safe record; successful company road test and current medical card.

• Online networking/installation training plus on‑the‑job instruction with field technicians.

• Proven customer‑service and problem‑solving skills; ability to lift 100 lbs and maneuver equipment up to 1,000 lbs.

Required Education

• High‑school diploma or GED.

• Valid state driver’s license (CDL if required by state) and FMCSR eligibility.

Work Environment / Working Conditions

• Mix of office, warehouse, truck, and customer sites; exposure to all weather conditions and chemical solvents/cleaners.

• Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, kneeling, and heavy lifting; pushing/pulling wheeled loads up to 1,000 lbs.

• Variable schedule with possible overtime and overnight stays to satisfy DOT rules or peak demand.
