Join Vestas as a Production Team Member I in Brighton, CO, where you will play a crucial role in the assembly of nacelles for wind turbines. This position offers a pay rate of $23.50 - $30 per hour (depending on experience) and a $3/hour differential for the night shift.

Primary Responsibilities

• Efficiently assemble components utilizing both hand and power tools.
• Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes, ensuring parts fit and are assembled correctly, including bolts, screws, shafts, and bearings.
• Achieve production standards for various tasks within the allotted time frame.
• Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and removing them from the work area as needed.
• Manage materials using a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation purposes.
• Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components.
• Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product.
• Test and inspect components to ensure they meet our standards of uniformity and quality.

Required Experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with standard power and hand tools.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.

Required Education

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
