Job Description

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Quality throughout the Shipping, Receiving, and Repair teams. This includes developing and implementing Quality Control Programs, directly supervising department staff, and ensuring systems are in place to maintain product quality while identifying and resolving non-conformances.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and standards to meet product engineering specifications and customer requirements.
  • Manage non-conforming product control systems, coordinating disposition and tracking the status of issues.
  • Supervise Quality Department staff assigned to quality inspections and project execution.
  • Investigate product non-conformances, taking action to resolve and prevent issues.
  • Coordinate the development of product quality control systems for new or revised products, interacting with customers as needed.
  • Devise sampling procedures, develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • Implement and support self-managed teams.
  • Ensure a safe work area by adhering to safety policies and procedures and fostering a safety-first mindset.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Strong desire to learn new skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent work ethic, dependability, and dedication to team and company goals.
  • Basic and applied knowledge of Lean/5S concepts.
  • Conflict resolution and effective verbal and written communication skills, with respect, care, and concern for colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software.
  • Minimum travel may be required.

Required Education

  • College Education / Degree in a related field preferred.

Work Environment

  • Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
