Job Description
ATI is currently seeking a Non-Destructive Testing Technician (NDT) to join our facility in Cudahy, WI. This is a full-time position on the third shift (11 PM - 7 AM, Monday through Friday), with training conducted on the first shift. Join a dedicated team that takes pride in achieving production and quality results.
Primary Responsibilities
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
- Perform testing on various materials and components to detect surface and near-surface discontinuities using NDT methods.
- Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Compile detailed and accurate test reports documenting the results of inspections.
- Collaborate with the quality team and other NDT technicians to address issues found during inspections.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance NDT processes and procedures.
Required Experience
- Must hold a Level II certification in Non-Destructive Testing, focusing on Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and/or Fluorescent Penetrant Testing (PT).
- Preferred: Experience in Horizontal MT-bench and semi-automated electrostatic spray Fluorescent Penetrant Testing.
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures.
