Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision.
- Follow defined schedules and procedures, including safety protocols and verbal/written instructions.
- Mentor entry-level technicians as needed.
- Work in varying conditions, including heights up to 250 feet and small spaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure professionalism, safety, and attention to detail in all tasks.
Required Experience:
- At least 1 year of technical wind industry experience, OR six (6) months of technical wind industry experience with a certificate of completion from a wind technician program, OR a minimum of three (3) years of experience in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery.
- Experience with intermediate-level power tools such as hydraulic, power torque, and diagnostic tools (e.g., Flukemeter functions, hydraulic pressure gauge).
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation.
Working Conditions:
- Climbing stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
