Job Description
Ferguson is seeking a Duct Fabrication Associate to join our team! This is an onsite position based in Doraville, GA, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The pay range for this role is $17.41 - $26.11 per hour, and it is bonus or incentive plan eligible.
Primary Responsibilities
- Setup and maintain machines in the shop for duct fabrication.
- Accurately measure, record, and shape fiberglass using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery (e.g., shears, brakes, rollers).
- Measure and cut duct with band saw, rolling, and grooving.
- Move loose and/or bundled duct from various locations within the duct shop.
- Assemble duct orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain work supplies in an organized manner.
- Observe vital safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping duct.
- Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines and Ferguson safety procedures.
Required Experience
- 0–2 years of fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong math skills and ability to calculate product quantities.
- Experience operating machinery for cutting fiberglass duct board per OSHA regulations is preferred.
- Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced customer service environment.
- Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.
