At MasTec Advanced Technologies, your smile and technical expertise are in demand. As a Home Installation Service Technician, you will provide and install advanced home technologies, including satellite dishes, home security systems, and smart home automation. This is a customer-focused role where you will recommend the best technology solutions, ensuring everything is set up correctly from the start. The position offers competitive pay, up to $22 an hour or more, performance-based compensation, and incentives. Paid training and opportunities for advancement are also provided.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and setup of various smart home products, including TV mounts, sound bars, speakers, smart door locks, smart thermostats, and video doorbells.
• Interact with customers to recommend and advise on the best technology solutions.
• Ensure all installations meet customer expectations and safety standards.
• Operate equipment such as ladders, tools, and vehicles to complete installations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols in a safety-sensitive role.

Required Experience:

• Experience in home installation or a technical field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn new technologies and master installation techniques.
• Comfortable working with tools and climbing ladders.
• Motivated and able to work independently.
• A valid driver’s license

Work Environment:

• Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, regardless of weather conditions.
• Ability to work in environments that may not be heated or air-conditioned.
• Physical tasks may include lifting 60-80 pounds, climbing ladders up to 36 feet, kneeling, crawling, and bending.
