Job Description

Ferguson is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Representative. This role offers a starting pay of $18 per hour or higher, depending on experience, with opportunities for growth both professionally and financially. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to customers regarding the best products for their needs.
  • Process customer orders through the order management system.
  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures.
  • Prepare and stage orders for customer pickup.
  • Maintain store appearance and adhere to merchandising standards.
  • Restock merchandise and ensure products are placed in their respective areas.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Required Experience:

  • 0-3 years of relevant experience (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC or plumbing products is a plus.
  • General digital literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • Strong general math skills to assist with cash accounting.

Working Conditions:

  • The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening is required.
