The Senior Field Representative services and repairs a variety of office equipment at customer locations within a specific geographic area. This role may involve acting as a Team Lead/Coordinator and requires one Industry Certification. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Specializes in servicing and repairing a core set of highly complex office products.
• Manages territory, inventory, and customer relationships effectively.
• Provides 2nd level technical support to other technicians as a specialist.
• Achieves productivity levels based on assigned workload and experience.
• Identifies revenue-generating opportunities through supply leads, contract sales, and equipment assessments.
• Operates with minimal supervision, demonstrating technical expertise and specialist services.
• Performs a full range of service procedures including diagnostics, installation, and retrofitting.
• Completes training on new equipment as assigned.
• Conducts on-the-job training (OJT) for new and experienced technicians.
• Facilitates technical seminars as required.
• Acts as a professional role model and positive influence within the team.
• Assumes responsibilities of Field Technology Service Manager as needed.
• Adheres to territory management and call handling procedures.
• Maintains an accurate parts inventory and complies with company policies.
• Effectively handles challenging customer situations and maintains high customer satisfaction.

Required Experience

• Typically requires 3+ years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a Technology Service Consultant I.
• Requires 1 Industry Certification and sustained performance meeting or exceeding expectations.
• Requires a valid state driver's license and minimum level of auto insurance coverage per Ricoh policy for positions entailing extensive use of personal car while on company business.

Required Education

• Completion of a technical school program.

Working Conditions

• Works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation.
• Extensive daily travel by automobile is required, with potential travel by foot in urban areas.
• Exposure to various weather conditions and potential minor cuts, burns, and chemical solvents.
• May involve shift work, overtime, and on-call duties.
• Regular contact with dispatch, parts department, and customers to resolve equipment issues.
• Physical demands include lifting objects up to 50 pounds and moving heavier items on wheels.
