Job Description

The Technician - Satellite position at MasTec Advanced Technologies offers competitive pay up to $22 per hour or more, along with performance-based compensation and incentives. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of satellite dishes and receivers at residential and commercial locations, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain satellite dishes and receivers at customer residences and commercial buildings.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions.
  • Foster positive customer relationships and deliver a high-quality customer experience.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors, following safety protocols.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and work van in good condition.
  • Recommend products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Complete paperwork and administrative tasks related to job completion.

Required Experience:

  • Experience in customer service or technical support is preferred.
  • Ability to handle and troubleshoot satellite installation and maintenance tasks.
  • Must be comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle physical demands, including climbing ladders and lifting equipment.
  • A valid driver’s license

Work Environment:

  • Work may be performed in environments that are not heated or air-conditioned.
  • Work involves both indoor and outdoor settings, with varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings.
  • Safety-sensitive role requiring adherence to strict safety protocols.
  • Be able to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders
