Job Description
We are searching for an associate ready to step into a Valve Automation Sales Support role and become an integral part of the Valve Automation team.
This associate will report directly to the Valve & Automation Branch Manager and will spend time learning our V&A business. This associate will learn all aspects of our valve automation business and help provide solutions to our customers on a key intentional product.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Responsibilities
Manage and respond to inbound sales inquiries (phone, email, online)
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and product recommendations
Collaborate with outside sales and technical teams to meet customer needs
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Follow up on leads and close sales opportunities in a timely manner
Stay informed on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity
Build relationships with vendor partners to negotiate availability, pricing, and order timelines.
Qualifications
3-5 years of inside sales experience in an Industrial, manufacturing, or technical environment required
3-5 years of Valve & Automation sales knowledge preferred
Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into customer solutions
Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and ability to make decisions in a timely manner.
Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments.
Highly motivated and customer service-oriented mentality with ability to build relationships is a plus.
General digital literacy including Microsoft Office, Excel knowledge a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
