Job Description

Client Acquisition Director 

The Client Acquisition Director  is responsible for generating new business and cultivating strategic partnerships within a defined portfolio of Fortune 500 accounts where Ricoh currently has no existing business. This role requires a high level of strategic selling, prospecting, and collaboration to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new clients within a designated list of 15–25 Fortune 500 companies.
  • Execute strategic account selling methodologies to drive engagement.
  • Independently lead high-volume prospecting efforts to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts and team selling partners.
  • Conduct client meetings, executive briefings, RFP/RFQ responses, assessments, and value proposition presentations.
  • Qualify opportunities and develop proposals that meet or exceed customer expectations:
    • Position Ricoh’s portfolio effectively.
    • Assess customer fit and affordability.
  • Lead pricing strategies, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
  • Sell and deliver profitable services and solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Clearly communicate Ricoh’s industry position and value proposition.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and gross profit targets.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and activity records in CRM.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience selling to Fortune 1000 companies in a B2B or professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of success in new business development.

Working Conditions
  • Primarily remote, with time spent on the road, in a home office, or at client sites.
  • Standard office environment with minimal physical demands.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of items under 10 lbs.
  • Approximately 40% travel required, including overnight trips.
