Join us as a Maintenance Technician in Newark, NJ, where you will perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on the AirTran, guideway, and station doors. Operations are conducted 24/7 year-round.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles and related equipment to detect failures or improper operation (30%).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and replace defective parts or equipment using manuals and specifications (30%).
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures (30%).
• Document all preventive maintenance and special work orders; enter data into the Maximo Program (5%).
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules (5%).

Required Experience:

• 1-2 years in a maintenance shop.
• Basic electrical and mechanical experience.
• Ability to read schematics and mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and ability to use various tools, including meters and radios.

Required Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
