Job Description

Join us as an  Maintenance Technician in our powered metal facility in Oakdale, Pennsylvania, with a starting pay rate of $26.25. This role is essential in supporting production and ensuring equipment is operational to consistently meet production goals and customer needs.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all mechanical and electrical equipment in the plant.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions, determine the problem, and implement repairs.
  • Plan, layout, and perform all required operations to install, maintain, and repair a variety of plant equipment and accessories.
  • Safely install, maintain, and upgrade 3-phase motor control systems and AC/DC circuits.
  • Understand and troubleshoot fluid power systems, including power units, valve operation, cylinders, motors, and pumps.
  • Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and ethics rules.
  • Meet plant requirements for the safe operation of lift trucks and other material handling equipment.

Required Experience

  • At least two (2) years of trade school or equivalent experience in industrial mechanical or electrical work is required.

Required Education

  • General High School Diploma / GED is preferred.

Work Environment

  • Candidates must be willing to work rotating shifts and weekends as required.
