Job Description

At MasTec Advanced Technologies, your smile and technical expertise are in demand. As a Home Installation Technician, you will provide and install advanced home technologies, including satellite dishes, home security systems, and smart home automation. This role offers competitive pay of up to $22 an hour or more, along with performance-based compensation and incentives. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Install a variety of home technologies, including TV mounts, sound bars, speakers, and smart home products (e.g., door locks, smart speakers, video doorbells, smart thermostats).
  • Advise customers on the best technology solutions to meet their needs.
  • Ensure all installations are performed safely and correctly, adhering to company standards.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on the latest technologies and products.

Required Experience:

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing quality service.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Motivated to learn and master new technologies.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR (driving record) check.

Working Conditions:

  • Work may be performed in environments that are not heated or air-conditioned.
  • Physical requirements include lifting 60-80 pounds, climbing ladders (28-36 feet), and working in various positions that may be uncomfortable.
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends and evenings.
