Job Description

This position provides operational support in a legal office environment, including hospitality duties (arranging refreshments, greeting clients, and preparing meeting rooms), operating high-volume copy, scanning, and mail equipment, and assisting with office events. The role also includes handling sensitive documents, performing binding, filing, and quality control tasks, and ensuring equipment functionality. This position reports to the Site Manager or Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate high-volume copy, scanning, and mail equipment.
  • Handle sensitive and time-sensitive legal documents.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring quality and functionality.
  • Provide excellent customer service to legal staff and clients.
  • Assist with office events, including setup, catering, and cleanup.
  • Perform basic filing, scanning, and document formatting tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment, such as copiers and binders.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of materials.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are well-prepared for events.

Required Experience:

  • 1+ year of experience in the legal industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required.

Required Education:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Moderate dexterity for operating office equipment and tools.
