Job Description
Ferguson is seeking a CDL Driver to join their team, offering a competitive hourly pay range of $19.26 – $30.76, bonus eligibility, and the opportunity to be home daily with no nights or weekends. This full-time position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to customers, assisting with loading/unloading and ensuring accurate ticket delivery.
- Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, refuel trucks as needed, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all DOT standards, regulations, and company safety policies.
- Assist warehouse personnel with order preparation, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking materials.
- Work in a 50/50 driving and warehouse role, with outdoor duties year-round in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Required Experience
- 1–3 years of commercial truck driving experience strongly preferred.
- Background in warehouse operations and logistics (preferred).
- Experience in shipping, receiving, and delivery (preferred).
Required Education
- Valid CDL license.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possession of or ability to acquire a DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. by hand and 50+ lbs. using equipment.
- Strong communication, customer service, and basic computer skills.
Work Environment
- Outdoor work year-round in all weather conditions in a pipeyard setting.
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
