Vestas Wind Technology, Inc. is seeking a Site Wind Turbine Technician II for multiple openings in Reynods, IN. This position offers a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus. If you hold certifications in Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) from the Global Wind Organization (GWO), you’re already a step ahead in this exciting opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision.
• Follow defined schedules and safety protocols, including verbal and written instructions.
• Mentor entry-level technicians when necessary.
• Work at heights of up to 250 feet and in confined spaces to carry out repairs and maintenance.
• Promote teamwork and maintain professionalism, safety, and attention to detail.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of wind experience or 2-3 years of applicable experience introubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Education

• Relevant certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO).

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Physical demands include climbing, carrying tools and equipment, and moving parts.

Location of this Position
Reynods, IN - 20 minutes from Lafayette, IN, and only 15 minutes from Lake Safer and Freeman in Monticello, IN.
