MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Home Installation Technicians through our partnership with the Best Buy program. This role offers up to $22 an hour or more, with competitive wages and performance-based compensation. You will work independently while installing and providing service for smart home solutions, including TV mounts, sound bars, speakers, door locks, video doorbells, and smart thermostats.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install and provide services for a variety of smart home products, including TV mounts, sound bars, speakers, door locks, video doorbells, and thermostats.
• Advise customers on the best technology solutions to meet their needs.
• Perform installations with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Work independently while managing multiple tasks and customer needs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in a safety-sensitive environment.
• Provide clear communication and recommendations to customers during service interactions.

Required Experience:

• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering quality installations.
• Experience with home technology installations is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot various installation equipment and tools.
• Must be comfortable working in various environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Working Conditions:

• Work may be performed in environments that are not heated or air-conditioned, with tasks both indoors and outdoors, depending on weather conditions.
• Job duties require physical activities such as lifting 60-80 pounds and climbing ladders up to 28-36 feet.
• Must be able to meet manufacturer’s safety requirements and pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR check.
• Flexible schedule required, including weekends and evenings.
