Job Description
Comcast is seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual for a sales role that offers both base pay and the potential for significant commission earnings. The base pay for this position is $16.55 per hour, with targeted total compensation reaching $24.24 per hour (base pay plus commission). Primary Responsibilities
- Represent Comcast’s products and services by sharing product knowledge and providing demonstrations to customers.
- Evaluate customer needs and offer appropriate solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting product usage.
- Achieve sales and customer experience goals, ensuring customers are fully onboarded and understand how to use all products and services.
- Perform operational and administrative tasks, maintaining compliance with company and retail policies.
- Collaborate with customer care teams to resolve any issues customers may have.
- Engage in continuous learning through team huddles and training sessions.
- Understand and apply the sales compensation plan to maximize earnings.
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed, with the possibility of working at alternate store locations.
- Lift and carry up to 25-pound boxes and stand/move about the store as part of daily responsibilities.
Required Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in customer service or sales-related roles.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior customer service or sales experience preferred, but not required.
- Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new products and services quickly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
Required Education
- High School Diploma or GED.
Work Environment
- Retail environment with a flexible schedule required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and remain on your feet for long periods.
