Job Description
Ferguson is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day operations within branch locations, with responsibilities that include inventory control, vendor relations, quality control, and process improvement. This role is eligible for bonus or incentive plans. Pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.63 per hour, with starting wage potentially higher based on local or state wage requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain inventories and conduct physical inventories under managerial direction
- Work with vendors and Ferguson shared services to resolve pricing discrepancies
- Facilitate accurate customer credit memos in line with company guidelines
- Reconcile WMS Variance and Cycle Counts
- Review customer invoices for pricing, costing, and freight accuracy
- Develop and implement quality control programs
- Identify and implement operational efficiency improvements, including standardization of systems and procedures
- Oversee facility upkeep to ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment
- Adhere to all safety policies, regulations, and procedures
- Participate in associate meetings and communicate concerns to management
Required Experience
- 1 – 3 years of Ferguson experience preferred
- Proficiency in multitasking and time management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities
- Familiarity with Trilogie and Microsoft Excel is a plus
- Knowledge of WMS/HighJump is preferred but not required
- Customer service-oriented with a willingness to support cross-functional needs
