If you hold Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO), you are one step ahead!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled service and maintenance on wind turbines.
- Conduct fault analysis and troubleshooting.
- Engage in main component or blade work on wind turbines.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces, often exposed to various weather conditions.
- Collaborate in teams of 2-3, typically climbing 1-2 turbines per day.
- Be available for on-call duties and travel (up to 10% annually) to assist other sites as needed.
Required Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work.
- Wind experience and certification are preferred.
Required Education:
- Relevant technical certifications as specified (BST, BTT, ART).
Work Environment:
- Typical shifts are 5 days a week at 8 hours a day, with overtime available.
- Working conditions include heights and confined spaces, with exposure to outdoor elements.
