This position involves conducting experiments, testing, and assembling prototypes to contribute to product development in the HVAC industry. The Engineering Technician I will analyze data to support ongoing product enhancement. The hourly pay rate for this role is between $22.99 and $34.49, depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support engineers with research, development, testing, and maintenance of engineering systems and equipment.
• Conduct tests, experiments, and calibration procedures on equipment and components, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Collect, record, and analyze data from tests, providing insights to engineers and project teams.
• Operate and maintain technical equipment and instruments, ensuring optimal working condition.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, proposing solutions to maintain project continuity.
• Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and equipment maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols, promoting a safe working environment.
• Demonstrate the ability to locate parts, diagrams, and drawings within the AAON database.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 1-3 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• EPA 608 and A2L certification required.

Required Education:

• Two-year HVAC degree from a technical school.
• Additional education or experience beyond the minimum is an advantage for career development.

Work Environment:

• Office with periodic visits to the test lab and manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fumes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and the ability to climb, stoop, sit, or stand for prolonged periods.
