Job Description
The Brazer is responsible for performing critical assembly line and sub-assembly brazing operations on air conditioning units and related equipment. This role involves precise brazing tasks requiring careful handling and adjustment of materials and equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret operational Method Sheets (OMS) job instructions.
- Handle materials to and from the workstation.
- Execute critical brazing operations with extreme precision, considering component proximity and tubing.
- Maintain proper heating techniques for effective filler material flow in various directions.
- Determine required materials, filler metal, and flux, and adjust torch flame and tips accordingly.
Required Experience:
- Experience in brazing operations is preferred.
- Proficiency in handling materials and adjusting equipment for precise brazing.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work in challenging environments.
- Ability to read and understand job instructions and Method Sheets.
