Job Description
This position is located in Wichita, Kansas, and reports to the Receiving & Warehouse Supervisor. The Material Handler will assist in receiving and warehouse operations, performing various functions to move supplies, materials, and equipment within the plant. Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities are crucial. Familiarity with the SAP system is required.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive oral and/or written instructions from the Supervisor and/or lead person.
- Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify part numbers on material and equipment.
- Monitor assigned Queue for requested material from production and report any discrepancies.
- Check material for defective conditions.
- Safely move material between the dock, warehouse, and/or manufacturing areas.
- Ensure all physical moves are recorded in the SAP Warehouse Management System.
- Conduct yard inventory, dock audits, and/or cycle counts as directed.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on material handling equipment.
- Operate forklift and overhead crane safely, maintaining caution to avoid injury and damage.
- Manage the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant material handler work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and work with accuracy.
- Ability to operate standard computer and scanner equipment.
- Ability to safely operate dock equipment, Forklift and pallet jacks.
- Working knowledge of SAP System as it pertains to material movements.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
