Job Description
This position reports to and works closely with the Receiving & Warehouse Supervisor to assist in the receiving and warehouse operations. In this role, you will perform a variety of functions to move supplies, materials, and equipment to and from receiving, warehouse, and manufacturing areas of the plant. Organizational skills and the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively are of paramount importance. A working knowledge of the different functions of the SAP system is also required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Receive oral and/or written instructions from Supervisor and/or lead person.
- Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify part numbers on material and equipment.
- Monitor assigned Queue for requested material from production and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor, lead person.
- Check material for defective conditions to Supervisor, lead person.
- Safely move material between the dock, warehouse, and/or manufacturing areas, ensuring all moves are properly recorded within the SAP Warehouse Management System.
- Conduct yard inventory, dock audits, and/or cycle counts as directed.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on material handling equipment.
- Maintain alertness when operating forklift trucks to avoid injury or damage.
- Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, including using forklifts and operating overhead cranes.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Required Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant material handler work experience.
- Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and work with accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate standard computer and scanner equipment.
- Ability to safely operate dock equipment, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
- Working knowledge of the SAP System as it pertains to material movements.
Required Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
