Join our dynamic team at the Windsor Production facility as a Production Technician. This role offers the unique chance to collaborate in the creation of wind turbine blades, crafting them from fiberglass and other materials. You’ll play a pivotal role in energizing homes across the US by bringing these monumental products to life. Pay ranges from $21.25 to $28.00 per hour based on experience and skill set.

Primary Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate manufacturing equipment with a strong commitment to safety protocols
• Adhere to Process Work Instructions and engage in manual production processing to accurately fit and assemble components such as bolts, screws, shafts, or bearings
• Exceed production benchmarks by completing specific tasks within the designated timeframe
• Lift, position, and/or remove material from work areas
• Load, stack, and transport materials by hand, truck, crane, or jib
• Read and comprehend Work Process Instructions and translate them into the ability to perform tasks
• Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned

Required Experience

• Two years of experience in Manufacturing, Trade Labor, Craning, or Fabrication
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, including reading, writing, and speaking 

Required Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Working Conditions

• The work environment involves the use of latex, epoxy, and fiberglass, including fiberglass dust

About the Company
The Blades Factory in Windsor produces blades for the new V163-4.5 MW turbine and the 2 MW platform within our 666,000 square feet of building space on 161 acres of land. The components manufactured at our Windsor factory are used primarily in turbines in North America and are also exported to Mexico, Uruguay, Brazil, and Europe.
