Job Description

The Onsite Sales Counselor is responsible for meeting with prospective buyers to communicate, persuade, and conduct final sales for newly constructed residential homes. This role involves generating new leads, providing home tours, and maintaining strong customer relationships through the homebuying process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist prospective homebuyers with literature, tours, and general inquiries.

  • Demonstrate model homes and explain floor plans, construction details, and available options.

  • Address sales objections and close transactions, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Manage and document sales transactions, including loan application follow-up and weekly buyer communication.

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of sales models and marketing materials.

  • Generate new customer leads through networking, referrals, and broker presentations.

  • Host grand openings and community events.

Required Experience

  • Previous sales experience required; new home sales experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.

  • Strong communication skills and sales closing ability.

  • Experience working in a team environment with collaborative decision-making.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Work Environment

  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk stairs, and move around the community for extended periods.

  • Occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions.

  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 20 lbs.

  • On-site role at a community in the Seagoville and Aledo Area (exact location TBD).
