MasTec Advanced Technologies is currently seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team. These technicians will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining fiber optic broadband services for residential and occasional commercial customers. This position offers competitive wages between $22 - $24 per hour, along with paid training, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and a clear promotion path.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings with new and existing fiber optic infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used.
• Generate accurate reports on work completed and document network configurations.
• Provide superior customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures in this safety-sensitive role.

Required Experience:

• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Experience in fiber optic cable installation or a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings.
• Prior experience in customer service is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR check.
