MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team. Our Fiber Technicians provide high-speed cable TV, phone, and internet installation to residential and occasionally commercial customers. Primary Responsibilities

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in both indoor and outdoor settings with new and existing fiber optic infrastructure.

• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used. Generate accurate reports on work completed and document network configurations.

• Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, and responsibility in the performance of work assignments.

• Ensure that the highest quality of service is provided to promote superior customer satisfaction.

• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures in this safety-sensitive role.

Required Experience

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently.

• Motivation to learn and master the latest technologies.

• Ability to multi-task effectively.

• Ability to recommend and advise on the best solutions and products for customers.

• A valid driver’s license.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR (driving record) check.

• Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends or evenings.
