Job Description & Requirements
Ferguson is seeking a Union CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. The pay rate for this role is $21 hourly. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Enjoy a truck driving career where you can be home daily with no nights or weekends.
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver materials to customers, assist with unloading, ensure delivery ticket accuracy, and collect payments if required
- Pick up customer returns and validate product match for credit requests
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel truck as needed, and report issues to supervisor
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Support warehouse operations, including pulling/preparing orders, receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking materials
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of route driving experience preferred
- Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift items over 50 lbs
- General digital literacy
- Product knowledge or ability to learn quickly
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid CDL license with a airbrake endorsement
- Possession of or ability to acquire a DOT Medical Card
Work Environment
- Pre-employment drug and background screening required
- Home daily with no nights or weekends
- Ability to work overtime as needed
