Job Description & Requirements

Ferguson is seeking a Counter Sales Representative for a dual-role position that includes warehouse responsibilities. The starting pay rate is $22 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Advise customers on product selection to meet their needs
  • Process orders using the order management system
  • Operate cash registers and adhere to cash handling procedures
  • Prepare and stage orders for customer pickup
  • Safely operate a forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders
  • Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
  • Utilize RF devices for sorting, scanning, and preparing orders
  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
  • Restock merchandise in designated areas
  • Maintain a safe working environment, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Required Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of products is preferred
  • General computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
  • General math skills for cash accounting
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening required
