Job Description & Requirements
Clean Earth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus with a starting salary of $28/hour. Overtime is available, and employees can earn in excess of $61,000 – $66,000 per year. We are seeking experienced, professional CDL B drivers to join our team in safely transporting and disposing of waste in accordance with environmental regulations. This position requires 2–3 overnight trips per month, with hotel expenses and a nightly per diem covered.
Primary Responsibilities

Safely pick up and transport waste in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests and work orders

Schedule inbound and outbound waste shipments

Prepare hazardous waste shipping documents including Universal Hazardous Waste manifests, bills of lading, and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs)

Maintain daily communication with customers and internal personnel

Operate hand trucks, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
Required Experience
-
At least 21 years of age
-
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License
-
At least two of the following endorsements: Air Brakes, Hazmat, and Tanker (the third can be obtained at company’s expense)

Preferred: TWIC Card and box truck driving experience

Strong knowledge of Environmental/Regulatory/DOT regulations

Experience in the waste industry or some college education

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC)

Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check

Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Required Education

High school diploma or GED
Work Environment

This role involves travel with 2–3 overnight trips per month

Physical work including equipment operation and waste handling
