Job Description & Requirements
Clean Earth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus and a starting salary of $28/hr for experienced CDL B drivers. With overtime opportunities, drivers can earn in excess of $61,000 - $66,000/year. This full-time position includes travel with 2–3 overnights per month, with paid hotel expenses and nightly per diem.
Primary Responsibilities

Pick up and transport waste safely in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests/work orders.

Schedule shipments to or from site.

Process and prepare hazardous waste documentation including manifests, bills of lading, and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs).

Maintain regular contact with customers and personnel at all levels.

Operate hand trucks, forklifts, or other heavy equipment.
Required Experience
-
Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License.

Minimum age of 21 (required by law).

At least two of the following endorsements: Air Brakes, Hazmat, Tanker. The third may be obtained at company expense upon hiring.

Preferred: TWIC Card and experience driving box trucks.

Preferred: Some college or prior waste industry experience.

Knowledge of DOT and environmental regulations.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Must maintain a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC).

Must pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
Required Education

High school diploma or GED.
Work Environment

Requires 2–3 overnight trips per month.

Paid hotel accommodations and nightly per diem provided for overnight stays.
