Delivers, picks up, relocates, and installs office equipment safely and efficiently while meeting all DOT and Ricoh Delivery Safety Standards. Provides basic networking/installation and customer training at the delivery site and represents Ricoh with professional conduct that supports future sales.

Primary Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver equipment to customer sites; load, secure, and unload trucks or vans safely.

• Perform pre-/post-trip vehicle inspections; maintain electronic or manual DOT logbooks.

• Execute basic connected installations (IP setup, driver downloads, address-book backup/restore, hard-drive removal) and give customers introductory device training.

• Verify equipment against Bills of Lading/travelers, capture electronic signatures, and ensure all paperwork is processed accurately.

• Conduct simultaneous pickups to reduce transportation costs; reconcile end-of-day inventory and report discrepancies.

• Participate in safety programs, follow all accident/incident reporting procedures, and maintain driver uniform standards.

• Use warehouse equipment (forklifts, stair climbers, pallet jacks) and assist with loading/off-loading as needed.

• Provide feedback to service/process teams, pre-call customers when required, and assist in training new Delivery Drivers.

• Manage route inventory valued up to $1 million; achieve productivity/quality targets and complete additional duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• 2+ years medium-duty truck driving; safe driving history and successful road test.

• Valid state driver’s license (and CDL if required by state) plus current medical card; FMCSR eligibility.

• Online technical training in networking/installation and on-the-job training with field technicians.

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and maneuver equipment up to 1,000 lbs; certified (or certifiable) on forklifts/stair climbers.

• Map-reading/GPS skills and basic computer proficiency; customer-facing communication abilities.

Required Education

• High-school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

• Mix of office, warehouse, and vehicle settings with normal lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise; frequent exposure to solvents/cleaners.

• Extensive driving, plus stooping, bending, kneeling, and lifting of heavy equipment; must identify at-risk behaviors and work independently.

• Overnight stays possible per DOT rules or peak periods.
