Leads and directs a team of warehouse associates and forklift drivers, ensuring all shipping, receiving, order-fulfillment, and safety processes are executed accurately and on time. Acts as the direct back-up to the Warehouse Supervisor, assists with training, and drives productivity and quality goals for the functional area.

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan daily workloads with the warehouse supervisor/manager; monitor timelines and task completion.

• Train, lead, and direct warehouse personnel (associates, dispatchers, forklift drivers) in all procedures.

• Enforce OSHA, safety, and security standards; drive 5S and production goals.

• Troubleshoot system/process issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Operate material-handling and dock equipment; ensure paperwork, WMS, scanners, and manifests are processed correctly.

• Communicate with internal and external customers; provide cross-functional assistance as needed.

• Maintain productivity/quality metrics and support continuous improvement; perform other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

• 4+ years of warehouse experience (or 3 years within Ricoh).

• Current forklift certification; ability to operate all warehouse material-handling equipment.

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, ERP platforms, scanners, and MS Office.

• Strong communication, leadership, and team-development skills; ability to lift up to 100 lbs and move wheeled loads up to 700 lbs safely.

Required Education

• High-school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with normal lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise levels.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting/carrying up to 100 lbs; movement of wheeled objects up to 700 lbs.

• Overtime or off-shift work may be required.
