At MasTec Advanced Technologies, you will provide and install advanced home technologies, including satellite dishes, home security, and smart home automation. As a technician, you’ll be responsible for recommending the best technologies and ensuring everything is set up correctly. Competitive wages up to $22 per hour or more, performance-based compensation, and incentives are available. Primary Responsibilities:

• Install and set up a variety of home technology products, such as TV mounts, sound bars, speakers, smart door locks, video doorbells, and smart thermostats.
• Provide excellent customer service while recommending the best solutions and products based on customer needs.
• Ensure proper installation and troubleshooting of home technologies.
• Work independently and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures during installation and troubleshooting.

Required Experience:

• Experience or the willingness to learn installation of smart home products.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to advise and recommend the best products to meet customer needs.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and MVR (driving record) check.

Work Environment:

• The work environment may involve climbing ladders, lifting 60-80 pounds, and working in a variety of conditions (both indoors and outdoors).
• Some work may be performed in environments that are not heated or air-conditioned.
• Work may involve kneeling, crawling, bending, or working in uncomfortable positions.
• Flexibility in schedule, including weekends and evenings, is required.
