Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Counter Sales Representative. This role offers competitive compensation with an hourly pay range of $15.00 - $21.68 and is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Schedule includes Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts between 7am and 5pm, plus one Saturday per month from 8am to 12pm.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs
• Process orders via order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised
• Ensure that merchandise is restocked and placed in their respective areas
• Maintain a safe working environment including use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

Required Experience

• Prior customer service experience in a customer-facing role preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing products is a plus
• General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise (up to 50 lbs.)
• General math skills for cash accounting
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required
