Ferguson is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to provide product guidance, order processing, and customer service. This position offers a starting pay of $22/hr or more based on experience, with competitive compensation, hourly bonus potential, and opportunities for growth and advancement. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:00 PM, with rotating Saturdays.

Primary Responsibilities

• Advise customers on products that best meet their needs
• Process orders using the order management system
• Operate cash registers and follow cash handling procedures
• Prepare and stage orders for customer pick up
• Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
• Restock merchandise in designated areas
• Maintain a safe working environment, including proper use of PPE
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including wearing a safety harness (maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs)

Required Experience

• 1–3 years of HVAC and/or plumbing sales experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• General math skills for cash accounting
• Strong decision-making and communication skills
• Willingness and ability to learn new processes

Work Environment

• Safety-focused workplace with PPE requirements
• Must wear a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs
