Job Description & Requirements

Ferguson is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to join their team. This role offers competitive compensation with an hourly pay range of $15.00 – $21.68 and is eligible for bonus or incentive plans. Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
  • Process orders using the order management system.
  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures.
  • Prepare and stage orders for customer pick-up.
  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards.
  • Restock merchandise in appropriate areas.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, including use of PPE.
  • Serve as a counter "floater," filling in at various counters in the area when needed.

Required Experience

  • 1–3 years of face-to-face customer service experience preferred.
  • Basic product knowledge preferred.
  • General computer skills required, including Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • General math skills for cash accounting.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn.
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
