Job Description & Requirements
Responsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting of voice, video, and data services. This entry-level role offers a structured development path involving certifications and hands-on field assessments. Starting base pay is $22.00/hour.
Primary Responsibilities
-
Install and modify services in accordance with company procedures, safety standards, and NEC/NESC/local ordinances.

Perform service calls and troubleshoot issues from the tap to the customer’s equipment.

Design and implement basic home networks using coaxial, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and MoCA technologies.

Assess Wi-Fi setups, recommend device placement, and educate customers on network use.

Maintain accurate service records and customer account updates.

Communicate with customers to provide education and support on Comcast products and services.

Maintain and clean company vehicle and tools; report maintenance needs.

Operate and maintain tools such as meters, ladders, light power tools, and hand tools.

Perform installations at heights, in confined spaces, or under various weather conditions.

Lift and carry loads of 70+ lbs., and perform physical tasks such as climbing, crawling, and prolonged standing.

Work with moderate noise exposure, near animals, in public/construction areas.

Complete all required training and pass certification tests within designated timelines.

Meet or exceed all performance goals and metrics.

Work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
-
Entry-level; no prior experience required, though up to 2 years is applicable.
Required Education
-
High school diploma or GED required.
Work Environment
-
Exposure to varying weather conditions and moderate noise.

Physical labor including climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, and working in attics/crawlspaces.

Contact with animals and working in construction/public areas.

Variable work schedule including weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime.
Pay

Base Pay: $22.00/hour

Eligible for bonus or commission depending on role and performance.
