The Delivery & Install Driver is responsible for the efficient and safe pick-up, relocation, and delivery of office equipment. This role involves installation and networking of equipment during delivery to customers. The driver's professionalism directly influences customer satisfaction and future purchase decisions. Candidates must meet all federal DOT requirements and adhere to Delivery Safety Standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure equipment is safely delivered to the correct location.
• Maintain log books in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre and post trip reviews of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Perform product pick-up during delivery to minimize costs.
• Conduct basic installations, such as setting up IP addresses and downloading print drivers.
• Provide basic training on delivered devices.
• Participate in Safety Programs and pre-call customers when applicable.
• Achieve expected productivity levels based on workload and experience.
• Demonstrate strong technical and customer relation skills.
• Provide feedback on networking and installation initiatives.
• Complete all required paperwork and maintain professional appearance.
• Assist in training new delivery drivers.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliation when necessary.
• Responsible for an inventory value of up to $1,000,000.
• Overnight stays may be required.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of two years of medium-duty truck driving experience.
• Safe driving record and history.
• On-the-job training with field technicians.
• Be at least 20 years of age, properly licensed in his or her current state of residence
  
• Ability to read maps and electronic GPS

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Must maintain valid driver's license in accordance with company policy

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to handle oversized and overweight equipment.
• Strong customer presentation and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with smartphones/tablets.
• Adequate technical skills for installing and networking equipment.
• Ability to read maps and use GPS.

Working Conditions:

• Physical effort required in lifting equipment weighing up to 100 pounds and moving items up to 1,000 pounds.
• Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and kneeling.
• Varied environments, including office, warehouse, and vehicle settings.
• Exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners.
