Counter Representative I

Position Summary

Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an HVAC Counter Sales Representative.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM, plus overtime when needed. $15.00 - $20.59

Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.59

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
  • Process orders via order management system.
  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures.
  • Prepare and stage orders for customer pick-up.
  • Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised.
  • Ensure merchandise is restocked and placed in respective areas.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, including using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC products is preferred.
  • General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • General math skills for cash accounting.
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.
