Counter Representative I
Position Summary
Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an HVAC Counter Sales Representative.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM, plus overtime when needed. $15.00 - $20.59
Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.59
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide advice to customers regarding the best products to fit their needs.
- Process orders via order management system.
- Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling procedures.
- Prepare and stage orders for customer pick-up.
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards as advised.
- Ensure merchandise is restocked and placed in respective areas.
- Maintain a safe working environment, including using PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Required Experience
- 3-5 years of experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC products is preferred.
- General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- General math skills for cash accounting.
- Strong decision-making and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
