If you’re equipped with Basic Safety Training (BST), Basic Technical Training (BTT), and Advanced Rescue Training (ART) certifications from the Global Wind Organization (GWO), consider yourself already one step ahead!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines under minimal supervision.
• Follow defined schedules and procedures, including safety protocols and verbal/written instructions.
• Mentor entry-level technicians as needed.
• Work in varying conditions, including heights up to 250 feet and small spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure professionalism, safety, and attention to detail in all tasks.

Required Experience:

• At least 1 year of technical wind industry experience, OR six (6) months of technical wind industry experience with a certificate of completion from a wind technician program, OR a minimum of three (3) years of experience in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, composite skills, or heavy machinery.
• Experience with intermediate-level power tools such as hydraulic, power torque, and diagnostic tools (e.g., Flukemeter functions, hydraulic pressure gauge).

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation.

Working Conditions:

• Climbing stairs and ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
