Technician II at Vestas, Pleasant Valley Site, Dexter, MN. Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus offered, consisting of a one-time payout of $2,500, plus an additional $2,500 for candidates with specific GWO certifications. Relocation assistance may be available.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and installation work on assigned wind turbines with minimal supervision.
• Follow defined schedules and procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and instructions.
• Provide mentorship to entry-level technicians.
• Work at heights (250+ feet) and in confined spaces, while handling tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain professionalism, safety, and quality in all tasks.

Required Experience

• At least 1 year of wind experience or 2-3 years of experience in a heavy industrial background with a wind certificate.
• A safety-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Education

• Basic Safety Training, Basic Technical Training, and Advanced Rescue Training Global Wind Organization (GWO) certifications are preferred.

Work Environment

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
