Job Description & Requirements
The Retail Sales Professional at Comcast is responsible for working directly with customers in a retail location, evaluating customer needs, and making appropriate recommendations for Comcast products and services. This role offers a competitive compensation structure, including a base pay of $14.55 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $22.24 per hour through targeted commissions. This position provides opportunities for unlimited earnings potential based on performance, along with best-in-class benefits starting on day one.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers to evaluate their product needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Offer exceptional customer service, assisting with account clarifications, bill payments, and resolving customer inquiries.
- Help customers upgrade services, solve issues, and process requests related to Comcast products and services.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including an understanding of competitive offerings.
- Contribute to a fun and competitive retail environment.
- Assist customers in interpreting account statements and provide guidance on their services.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and mastering new technology, products, and services.
- Foster teamwork and a customer-first mindset within the store.
Required Experience:
- 2-5 years of related experience, with a preference for experience in consumer electronics or wireless retail sales.
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
Work Environment:
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to work in alternate stores outside of the home base location.
- Physical demands include the ability to carry and/or lift 25-pound boxes and the ability to stand and move throughout the store.
