MasTec Advanced Technologies is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join their team. In this role, you will provide high-speed cable TV, phone, and internet installation services to residential (and occasionally commercial) customers. This position offers competitive wages, with pay ranging from $22 - $24 per hour. Paid training and a clear career progression path are provided.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, splice, repair, and terminate fiber-optic cables and connectors in indoor and outdoor settings.

• Maintain detailed records of installations, repairs, and equipment used.

• Generate accurate reports and document network configurations.

• Apply ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, and responsibility in all work assignments.

• Provide high-quality customer service to ensure superior satisfaction.

• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Required Experience

• Strong customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.

• Willingness and motivation to learn and adopt new technologies.

• Ability to recommend appropriate solutions and products based on customer needs.

Work Environment

• Must be able to lift 60-80 pounds.

• Must be able to climb 28-36 foot ladders.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.

• Safety-sensitive role requiring strict adherence to protocols.

• Work is highly independent in nature.
